Body scrub is a cosmetic preparation that functions to remove dead skin cells and help maintain skin health. The utilization of natural ingredients such as soursop leaf extract (Annona muricata L.), which is rich in antioxidant compounds, and jojoba beads as a natural exfoliating agent has the potential to produce a safe and effective cosmetic product. This study aimed to determine the effect of varying concentrations of jojoba beads on the stability, exfoliation efficacy, and antioxidant activity of a body scrub containing soursop leaf extract. The study was conducted using a laboratory experimental design by formulating an oil-in-water body scrub containing 1.5% soursop leaf extract and jojoba beads at concentrations of 4%, 6%, and 8%. The evaluations included organoleptic properties, homogeneity, pH, viscosity, spreadability, heating–cooling stability testing, irritation testing using the HET-CAM method, exfoliation efficacy testing using the gravimetric tape stripping technique, and antioxidant activity testing using the DPPH method. The results showed that all formulations exhibited good physical characteristics, remained stable during testing, and did not cause irritation. Formulations containing jojoba beads demonstrated higher exfoliation efficacy than the control formulation. All formulations exhibited antioxidant activity, with the formulation containing 8% jojoba beads showing the highest antioxidant activity after stability testing. Variations in jojoba bead concentration affected exfoliation efficacy and antioxidant activity but did not significantly influence the physical characteristics and stability of the formulations. Therefore, the soursop leaf extract body scrub containing jojoba beads has the potential to be developed as a stable, safe, and effective herbal cosmetic product.
