Intrapreneurship is considered to improve company performance. However, empirical evidence regarding the relationship between intrapreneurship and the effectiveness of public sector educational institutions is still lacking. A comprehensive and methodical literature review was conducted to strengthen its predictability. This study is a methodical literature review to identify the transformational potential of intrapreneurship in improving the performance of public educational organizations and to strengthen intrapreneurship as a reliable indicator of public educational organizational performance. Watase Uake assisted in selecting relevant empirical research for this comprehensive PRISMA review. This study also presents a conceptual framework that describes intrapreneurship support as a predictive variable needed to create rapid performance improvements as expected in public sector educational institutions.
