Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem that can affect children's growth and development. One of the efforts to prevent stunting is by increasing pregnant women’s knowledge about the importance of nutritional intake and the benefits of vitamin D for child growth. This study aimed to determine the increase in pregnant women’s knowledge regarding stunting prevention and the benefits of vitamin D after receiving health education using leaflet media. This study used a quantitative descriptive approach with a one group pretest-posttest design. The study was conducted at Adipala II Health Center, Maos Health Center, and Kroya I Health Center involving 79 pregnant women. Data were collected using pretest and posttest questionnaires and analyzed descriptively in the form of percentages and tables. The results showed that respondents’ knowledge increased from 56.71% in the pretest to 82.28% in the posttest, with an increase of 25.57%. Health education using leaflet media was able to significantly improve pregnant women’s knowledge regarding stunting prevention and the benefits of vitamin D. These findings indicate that simple educational media such as leaflets can be an effective tool in maternal health promotion programs to support early prevention of stunting in children.
