Pengaruh Senam Jantung Sehat terhadap Tekanan Darah pada Lansia dengan Hipertensi di Panti Werdha

Hypertension in the elderly is a condition where there is an increase in blood pressure to abnormal, systolic blood pressure of at least 140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure of at least 90 mmHg. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of healthy heart exercise on blood pressure in the elderly with hypertension at the Panti Werdha. The research method uses the Pre-Experimental Design method with the One Group Pre Test-Post Test Design approach. The sample in this study was technique of total sampling.  The results of the study showed that the Paired T-Test test on systolic blood pressure before and after doing heart exercise showed that the P value = 0.000 was smaller than the significant level of 0.05, meaning that there was an effect of healthy heart exercise on systolic blood pressure in the elderly. The results of the Paired T-Test Test on diastolic blood pressure before and after doing heart exercise showed that the P value = 0.000 was smaller than the significant level of 0.05, meaning that there was an effect of healthy heart exercise on diastolic blood pressure in the elderly. The conclusion of this study is that there is an effect of healthy heart exercise on blood pressure in the elderly with hypertension at the Panti Werdha. This study is expected to provide information and knowledge about the effect of healthy heart exercise on blood pressure in the elderly with hypertension for nurses.
