<![CDATA[Low Back Pain (LBP) is an occupational disease associated with work activities and non-ergonomic working conditions or postures. Major ergonomic risk factors include awkward postures, such as bending more than 30 degrees without support; forceful exertions, such as lifting or lowering loads beyond muscular capacity; and repetitive movements, including stirring soybean porridge and cutting tofu. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between ergonomic factors and the incidence of LBP among tofu makers in Blaru and Dadirejo Villages. A quantitative cross-sectional design was applied to 60 tofu makers who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Ergonomic risks were assessed using the WERA method, covering awkward posture, forceful exertion, and repetitive motion, while LBP was identified through specific and physical examinations. Data were analyzed using the chi-square test. The results showed that 46 workers with awkward postures were at high risk of LBP, compared with five at moderate risk. High-risk forceful exertion was found in 31 workers, while 19 had moderate risk. Repetitive motion placed 42 workers at high risk and eight at moderate risk. Statistical analysis confirmed a significant relationship between ergonomic factors and LBP incidence among tofu makers.]]>
