<![CDATA[Reading is something that cannot be separated from learning problems. When viewed from several main functions and meanings included in it, learning increasingly needs to be improved continuously through reading. Reading is a way that must be done and needs to be continuously pursued in every learning process, because learning ability can be an indicator of success and mastery of the knowledge students learn both in terms of quality and quantity. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of interest in reading through poster media on grade 2 students at SD Negeri VII, Aitinyo District, Maybrat Regency. The type of research used in this research is quantitative. The research was carried out in March 2024 and data collection was carried out at the end of July 2024. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 7 Aitinyo District, Maybrat Regency, Southwest Papua Province. The subjects of this research were all 2nd grade students at SD Negeri VII, Aitinyo District, Maybrat Regency with a total of 12 students. Consisting of 5 men and 7 women and the researcher himself played the role of teacher. Based on research in the context of discussing the thesis, it can be concluded that the hypothesis test analysis shows that there is an influence of educational poster media on the reading interest of grade 2 students at SD Negeri VII, Aitinyo District, Maybrat Regency. This is shown from the known correlation coefficient value, obtained (Y) = 56.634+ 0.437, which means that there is a correlation/relationship between the influence of educational poster media on the reading interest of grade 2 students at SD Negeri VII, Aitinyo District, Maybrat Regency.]]>
