Objectives: To examine changes in basketball dribbling performance following audiovisual instruction among seventh-grade students at Suci Murni Private Junior High School during the 2023/2024 academic year. Methods: A one-group pretest–posttest study was conducted in May 2024 involving 20 seventh-grade students. Participants received basketball dribbling instruction using audiovisual media. Dribbling performance was assessed before and after the intervention. Pretest and posttest scores were compared using a paired-samples t-test at a significance level of 0.05. Results: The mean dribbling score increased from 17.60 at pretest to 21.10 at posttest, a gain of 3.50 points (19.89%). The paired-samples t-test indicated a statistically significant difference between pretest and posttest scores (t(19) = −10.405, p < 0.001). Conclusion: Audiovisual instruction was associated with improved basketball dribbling performance among the participating students. However, the absence of a control group limits attribution of the improvement solely to the intervention. Keywords: audiovisual media; basketball; dribbling; learning outcomes; physical education.
