Tasikmalaya is widely recognized for its strong Sufi and pesantren traditions, yet it continues to face persistent problems of poverty and social inequality. This study examines the role of the Idrisiyyah Sufi Order in transforming Sufi values into philanthropic practices that strengthen social solidarity and community empowerment. Employing a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis, and analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings reveal that Idrisiyyahâs Sufi philanthropy is constructed through the internalization of spiritual values, institutionalized philanthropic practices, and the reinforcement of social solidarity. Philanthropic activities have evolved from charity-oriented initiatives toward transformative models emphasizing social and economic empowerment. This study formulates the Idrisiyyah Sufi Philanthropy Model, which illustrates the integration of spirituality, social praxis, and sustainable social change. The findings highlight the capacity of Sufi orders to function as spiritually grounded agents of social transformation that are adaptive to contemporary societal dynamics.
