CV Cahaya Variasi is a company engaged in the manufacturing of commercial vehicle cargo bodies, with paint and steel as its primary raw materials. The company currently lacks a structured supplier evaluation system. This study aims to evaluate supplier performance using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) methods. The AHP results indicate that the most important criterion is quality (0.263), followed by cost (0.181) and responsiveness (0.136). The most influential sub-criteria are the ability to fulfill order quantities (0.119), conformity of raw material quality (0.105), and responsiveness to requests (0.074). The TOPSIS ranking results show that Paint Supplier A is the best-performing supplier with a preference value of 0.780 due to its superior performance in quality, raw material availability, and responsiveness. It is followed by Paint Supplier C (0.494), Paint Supplier B (0.485), and Paint Supplier D (0.247). The evaluation of the steel supplier indicates a very good performance, achieving a weighted score of 6.5 out of a maximum score of 7, particularly in terms of quality and raw material availability. The findings of this study can serve as a basis for more objective supplier evaluation and selection, thereby improving the effectiveness of raw material procurement and supporting sustainable supplier relationships.
