The increasing need for transportation has encouraged high interest in purchasing used motorcycles as a more affordable alternative. The wide variety of motorcycles with different conditions and characteristics makes it difficult for prospective buyers to determine the most suitable choice. This study aims to develop a web-based Decision Support System (DSS) to provide recommendations for purchasing used motorcycles using the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method. The research data consist of 12 used motorcycle alternatives evaluated based on 5 criteria, namely price, engine condition, motorcycle year, mileage, and body condition. The TOPSIS calculation process consists of decision matrix normalization, weighted normalization, determination of positive and negative ideal solutions, calculation of the distance of each alternative from the ideal solutions, and calculation of preference values. Based on the calculation results, Scoopy Donat (2024) obtained the highest preference value of 0.8442, making it the most recommended used motorcycle alternative. The results indicate that the TOPSIS method can provide recommendations based on multiple criteria in a more objective and measurable manner. The developed web-based system can assist prospective buyers in comparing alternatives and selecting a used motorcycle according to the predetermined criteria.
