Vaginal discharge (fluor albus) is one of the most common reproductive health problems experienced by adolescent girls. Inadequate knowledge of genital hygiene may increase the risk of pathological discharge and affect both physical and psychological well-being. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between knowledge of reproductive organ hygiene and the prevention of vaginal discharge among ninth-grade female students at SMP Negeri 19 Medan in 2026. A quantitative correlational design with a cross-sectional approach was used. The sample consisted of 56 respondents drawn from a population of 128 students using purposive sampling. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed univariately and bivariately using the Spearman Rank test at α = 0.05. The results showed that knowledge was mostly in the sufficient (42.9%) and good (39.3%) categories, while prevention behavior was mostly in the sufficient category (55.4%). The Spearman Rank test yielded p = 0.013 (< 0.05) and r = 0.329, indicating a statistically significant, positive, and weak correlation. Better knowledge tended to be accompanied by better preventive behavior. Schools and health workers are encouraged to provide continuous reproductive health education to strengthen preventive behavior.
