Work is a domain where individuals serve and dedicate themselves to the community, as well as a means of devotion to God. In practice, the work environment is often perceived as daunting. Some individuals suggest that the professional world may impose pressures that result in stress and mental health challenges. Consequently, developing an effective work model is essential to ensure that work activities are enjoyable and fulfilling. This research employs a qualitative methodology that integrates Hindu philosophical perspectives and social theology. The data collection method adopted is library research, which involves the procurement of relevant journals pertaining to dharma, professional work, and social welfare. Additionally, news items from mainstream media are gathered. The collected data are subsequently compiled for analysis and review in alignment with theories of professional work, with the aim of presenting the findings in an academic journal. This research introduces the Dharmic Professionalism model, a work paradigm grounded in dharma that offers a philosophical foundation for a more service-oriented, harmonious approach to professionalism. It underscores the importance of public service over personal or collective interests, with the aim of promoting social welfare.
