This study integrates chaos theory, specifically the Arnold Cat Map (ACM), with the Pixel-Value Differencing (PVD) steganography method to enhance data security in digital images. The proposed algorithm utilizes the Arnold Cat Map to scramble pixel positions, producing a random and unpredictable distribution pattern, and embeds secret data using the PVD method while preserving the visual quality of the image. The combination of these two techniques results in a steganographic system with high security and strong resistance to steganalysis attacks. Experimental results demonstrate that the hidden data is difficult to detect or decode without the correct decryption key. The implementation of this algorithm provides an effective solution for protecting sensitive information in various digital communication and data storage environments.
