The duration of Narcotics, Psychotropics, and Other Addictive Substances (NAPZA) use is one of the factors that may influence nutritional intake and nutritional status. This study aimed to determine the relationship between the duration of NAPZA use, nutritional intake, and the nutritional status of residents at Manah Shanti Mahottama Mental Hospital, Bali Province. Data collection was conducted from March to April 2026 using a consecutive sampling technique, with a total sample of 30 participants. The data collected included the duration of NAPZA use, nutritional intake, and nutritional status. This was an observational study with a cross-sectional approach. Data were collected using a questionnaire, a food scale, and a microtoise. The results showed that most participants had used NAPZA for 1–5 years (66.7%), had adequate nutritional intake (90%), and were classified as having overweight nutritional status (56.7%). Statistical analysis indicated no significant relationship between the duration of NAPZA use and nutritional intake (p = 1.000), no significant relationship between nutritional intake and nutritional status (p = 0.672), and no significant relationship between the duration of NAPZA use and nutritional status (p = 0.269). Further research is recommended to investigate other factors that may influence nutritional intake and nutritional status.
