Newborn care is a component of maternity nursing that supports the theory of nursing care implementation for newborns. For primiparous mothers, knowledge of newborn care is important because mothers are undergoing a process of adaptation to their new roles and responsibilities. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge levels of newborn care and acceptance of new roles among primiparous postpartum mothers in the Limboto Community Health Center (Puskesmas). This study employed a quantitative correlational research design. The population in this study was 33 primiparous postpartum mothers, and a sample of 33 primiparous postpartum mothers was selected using a total sampling technique. The results showed that knowledge levels of newborn care and acceptance of new roles among primiparous postpartum mothers had a chi-square value of P = 0.000 < 0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between knowledge levels of newborn care and acceptance of new roles among primiparous postpartum mothers in the Limboto Community Health Center (Puskesmas).
