SMA Islam Kepanjen library has implemented Senayan Library Management System (SLiMS) as its library management system. However, based on initial observation and interview findings, several interface issues were identified, including an unattractive display, non-intuitive navigation, a non-functional book ordering feature, and the absence of notification, online renewal, and book queue features. This study aims to redesign the SLiMS interface using the User-Centered Design (UCD) approach, which places users at the center of the design process, and to evaluate the results using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method. The study employs a mixed methods approach, with qualitative data obtained through observation and interviews, and quantitative data gathered from SUS questionnaires distributed to 75 student respondents using purposive sampling. The design process encompasses four UCD stages: understand context of use, specify user requirements, produce design solutions, and evaluate design. The outcome is a high-fidelity Figma-based prototype incorporating new features aligned with user needs, including online borrowing requests, book renewals, book queues, and a notification system. SUS evaluation was conducted to measure the usability level of the resulting prototype
