This study addresses the phenomenon of classic Vespas, which have evolved from a mere mode of transportation into an integral part of lifestyle and automotive culture, as exemplified by the SKUBA (Skuter Bandel) community. The main problem arises when beginner riders experience technical issues during touring such as carburetor breakdowns, ignition problems, or snapped throttle cables yet are constrained by rigid official manuals written in foreign languages and unsystematic online information. To overcome this information gap, this design project aims to craft a cover design for an educational book about classic Vespas titled "Ready to Hit the Road" through an illustrative approach, ensuring technical messages are communicated effectively. The design process employs a Design Thinking methodology, encompassing visual observations, interviews, data synthesis, and digital illustration execution. The final design features a high-angle perspective visualizing classic Vespa engine repair activities on the roadside. Supporting elements such as tools, a helmet, traffic cones, and traffic lights construct a visual narrative on vehicle roadworthiness and riding safety, reinforced by custom mural-style typography reflecting urban culture identity. Ultimately, this design work functions not merely as an initial visual hook (first impression), but as an educational tool that enables beginners to comprehend classic Vespa engines more easily
