<![CDATA[The management of detainee data at the Wastahti Directorate of the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) of DKI Jakarta requires an information system capable of managing and presenting data quickly, accurately, and securely. The existing detainee data recording process, which is still carried out manually or semi-digitally, often leads to delays in data retrieval, recording errors, data duplication, and difficulties in generating reports. These issues reduce the effectiveness and efficiency of detainee data management. This study aims to design and develop a web-based Detainee Information System for the Wastahti Directorate of the National Narcotics Agency of DKI Jakarta to manage detainee data, facilitate data retrieval, and generate reports efficiently. The system development adopts the Waterfall methodology, which consists of the requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance phases. System modeling is conducted using Unified Modeling Language (UML), including use case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, and class diagrams. The system is developed using the PHP programming language with the Laravel framework and MySQL as the database management system. System testing is performed using the Black Box Testing method to ensure that all system functions operate according to user requirements.The results of this study indicate that the developed information system improves the effectiveness and efficiency of detainee data management. The system provides features such as user login, detainee data management, data searching, user management, access rights management, and report generation. Furthermore, the system enables structured data storage, faster data retrieval, and easier, more accurate report generation.]]>
