<![CDATA[Breast cancer is one of the leading causes of death in women. Lack of knowledge about risk factors, signs and symptoms, and early detection causes many cases to be discovered at an advanced stage. Health cadres play an important role in providing education to the community, so they need to have adequate knowledge. This study aims to analyze the effect of health education on the level of knowledge of health cadres regarding breast cancer in Gentan Village, Sukoharjo Regency. This study used a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of 20 health cadres selected by total sampling. The level of knowledge was measured using the Breast Cancer Awareness Scale Indonesian Version (BCAS-I) and analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test (α = 0.05). The results showed that the average knowledge score increased from 8.45 ± 1.15 to 15.50 ± 0.95. The Wilcoxon test showed a significant difference before and after health education (Z = -3.92; p < 0.001). It was concluded that health education had a significant impact on improving health cadres' knowledge about breast cancer. Keywords: Breast Cancer, Health Cadres, Health Education, Knowledge. ]]>
