<![CDATA[This research aims to examine directive speech acts present in a film, focusing on how language and context influence the interpretation of speech acts, especially in films as a communication medium. The method used is a literature study with a qualitative approach, which allows for in-depth evaluation of various previous studies. The research data source consists of 15 articles and studies published between 2020 and 2024, which discuss directive speech acts in various films. The research instrument includes collection and content analysis of relevant articles. Data collection techniques are carried out through documentation studies. The data analysis technique uses content analysis. Checking the validity of the data was carried out through source triangulation, ensuring consistency of findings from various studies. The results of the research show that in the analysis of literature reviews regarding directive speech acts in films, it was found that the directive speech acts present were in the form of directive speech acts consisting of the acts of commanding, ordering, prohibiting, giving permission, asking questions, and giving advice and their functions.]]>
