Pharmaceutical supply management is an important aspect in supporting the effectiveness of drug budget utilization in healthcare facilities. Inadequate inventory management may lead to stock out, overstock, and an increased risk of expired medicines, resulting in budget inefficiency and decreased quality of pharmaceutical services. In addition, ineffective inventory control may affect drug availability for patients and hinder overall healthcare services. This study aimed to analyze pharmaceutical supply management toward the effectiveness of drug budget utilization based on inventory efficiency indicators through a literature review approach. The study was conducted by reviewing national and international scientific articles obtained from Google Scholar and other scientific databases published between 2021 and 2026. The selected articles discussed inventory control methods such as ABC-VEN analysis, EOQ, ROP, and ITOR. The results of the literature review showed that the implementation of appropriate inventory control methods could improve the efficiency of drug budget utilization, reduce the risk of stock out and overstock, and enhance the effectiveness of pharmaceutical logistics management in healthcare facilities. Furthermore, the utilization of information systems, pharmaceutical management technology, and effective supply chain management also supports the optimization of pharmaceutical supply management. In conclusion, effective pharmaceutical supply management can support drug budget efficiency, maintain drug availability, and improve the quality of pharmaceutical services in healthcare facilities
