ABSTRACT Casual sex is sexual relations between the opposite sex or the same sex without marriage and predominantly involving multiple partners. Casual sex is currently a problem experienced by adolescents in Indonesia. (Ginting, 2022). The results of a survey conducted by the National Family Planning Coordinating Board (BKKBN) in 2020 in 12 major cities in Indonesia, as quoted by Putri (2023), showed that 62.7% of teenagers had had sexual relations outside of marriage (Putri, 2023). This study used a quantitative analytical research method with an inferential design. This study used a quota sampling technique. Meanwhile, for respondent selection, the cluster random sampling method was used, with a sample size of 62 respondents taken, 31 respondents from each of the two schools. Based on the analysis, it can be seen that the average level of knowledge about the impact of free sex in junior high schools is higher than in Islamic junior high schools, where the number of students in junior high schools is 83.68, and in Islamic junior high schools is 62.16. The results of the average value can be concluded that knowledge about free sex between junior high schools and Islamic junior high schools has a significant difference using the T-test, the result of which is p = .000 (0.05) with a percentage difference of 96.9%.
