This community service project aimed to develop a web-based office equipment inventory management information system for the Doreng Cigarette Factory to support data recording, equipment condition monitoring, asset status management, and the generation of inventory reports more effectively and efficiently. The system was developed using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology—specifically the Waterfall model—encompassing the stages of requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The project resulted in a web-based information system capable of facilitating inventory data recording, managing specific equipment statuses (active, damaged, under repair, stored, sold), tracking the history of asset condition changes, and generating accurate reports. Implementation of the system successfully resolved data discrepancies caused by previous manual record-keeping methods, thereby rendering inventory management at the Doreng Cigarette Factory more structured and organized, while also supporting management decision-making processes.
