Community empowerment that utilizes local potential is an important strategy for fostering community self-reliance and promoting rural development. To empower the community through the optimization of local potential, the Community Service Program (Kuliah Kerja Amaliah/KKA) was conducted in Pasare Apua Village, Lantari Jaya District, Bombana Regency. A participatory approach was adopted in this activity, involving observation, socialization, mentoring, training, and community mutual cooperation (gotong royong). The KKA program integrated various initiatives, including strengthening agrominapolitan potential, developing halal and creative-based Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), strengthening local food security, and improving village and hamlet boundary markers. These programs were successfully implemented with the active participation of the village government and local residents. Overall, the KKA activities made a significant contribution to optimizing local potential and increasing community participation in supporting sustainable development in Pasare Apua Village.
