Product damage due to handling processes in the finished goods area remains a quality issue in the manufacturing industry. This study aims to identify the main causes of cereal product damage and evaluate the effectiveness of implementing Quality Control Circles (QCC), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and the concept of jidoka in reducing product damage rates. The research method used a descriptive quantitative approach with a case study through observation, interviews, and historical data analysis. The causes were identified using the 5M+1E approach and prioritized using the Risk Priority Number (RPN) value. The results showed that the absence of pallet arrangement standards, the absence of stoppers on the conveyor, and the lack of operator training were the main causes of damage. The implementation of improvements through QCC and jidoka was able to reduce product damage by 79.7%. These results show that this integrated approach is effective in improving the quality of the handling process in post-production activities.
