Abstract This study aims to analyze the importance of entrepreneurship strategies and Islamic muamalah principles in developing the Usaha Peningkatan Pendapatan Keluarga Akseptor (UPPKA) in Balanipa District, Polewali Mandar Regency. UPPKA is an economic empowerment initiative that provides opportunities for families, particularly family members of family planning acceptors, to develop productive economic activities and strengthen family economic resilience. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach through literature review and analysis of relevant empirical studies concerning UPPKA, women's economic participation, local entrepreneurship, and Islamic business principles. The findings indicate that the development of UPPKA requires an integrated strategy encompassing entrepreneurial capacity development, product innovation, financial management, digital marketing, market expansion, institutional strengthening, and collaboration among stakeholders. The implementation of Islamic muamalah principles is equally important to ensure that business activities are conducted based on honesty, trustworthiness, fairness, transparency, mutual consent, and halal business practices. The local context of Balanipa provides considerable potential because women and family members have been involved in various productive economic activities, including weaving, fish processing, food production, trading, and other household-based businesses. Previous studies in Balanipa indicate that women's economic activities can make a significant contribution to family income. Therefore, strengthening UPPKA through an entrepreneurial and Islamic muamalah-based approach has the potential to improve family income while simultaneously developing an ethical, sustainable, and community-oriented local economic ecosystem.
