Abstract

This study presents a comprehensive mapping of the global literature on organizational culture transformation during the 2015–2025 decade, conducted through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) referencing PRISMA protocols and applied bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer software. Out of 683 articles that successfully passed the inclusion criteria selection, an in-depth analysis revealed that research discourse over the past decade remains heavily concentrated on a technical-instrumental paradigm, treating organizational culture as a managerial variable that can be manipulated to enhance operational efficiency, fulfill regulatory compliance, and optimize workplace safety aspects. The more meaning rich interpretive perspective, though beginning to emerge, is still in a marginal position and has not yet achieved epistemic dominance. Nevertheless, an increasing substantial contribution from developing countries, including Indonesia, should be noted. This research clearly identifies a significant conceptual gap between the general terminology of "organizational culture change" and a deep understanding of the communicative mechanisms that actually underpin and shape this evolution. Based on these findings, the study advocates for the development of a more communication-study-oriented theoretical framework. This approach is expected to integrate theories such as the CCO (Communication Constitutes Organization) perspective, narrative analysis, and other interpretive frameworks to achieve a more holistic understanding of how the inherent meaning of organizational transformation processes is actively constructed, maintained through interaction, and often contested within the context of everyday organizational practices.
