This study aims to determine the effect of Total Asset Turnover (TATO) and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) on Return on Assets (ROA) at PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. A quantitative method was used, with a sample of the company's annual financial statements over 2016-2025, obtained from its official website. The analysis technique employed the Classical Assumption Test, Multiple Linear Regression, the Coefficient of Determination, and Hypothesis Testing through the t-test and F-test, processed using SPSS version 27. The results show that, partially, Total Asset Turnover has a positive and significant effect on Return on Assets, with a calculated t-value greater than the critical t-value (3.023 > 2.365) and a significance level of 0.019 below 0.05. Meanwhile, Debt to Equity Ratio does not have a significant effect on Return on Assets, with a calculated t-value smaller than the critical t-value (0.138 < 2.365) and a significance level of 0.894 above 0.05. Simultaneously, both variables have a significant effect on Return on Assets, with a calculated F-value greater than the critical F-value (5.184 > 4.74) and a significance level of 0.042 below 0.05. The Adjusted R Square of 0.482 indicates that both variables explain 48.2 percent of the variation in Return on Assets, while the remaining 51.8 percent is explained by other factors outside this study. These findings imply that, in the capital-intensive cement industry, efficient asset utilization is a more decisive driver of profitability than debt financing, and companies are advised to prioritize asset efficiency to sustain profitability.
