Financial literacy is a crucial skill for young generations to achieve financial freedom. Based on literature review, financial literacy encompasses understanding income management, budgeting, investment, debt control, and wise financial decision-making. Young people often face challenges such as consumptive behavior, lack of long-term planning, and limited financial knowledge. Improving financial literacy can be achieved through formal and non-formal education, training, and the use of digital technology to facilitate access to information. This literature review highlights that financial literacy not only contributes to individual well-being but also promotes broader economic stability. With adequate awareness and skills, young generations can direct their financial decisions toward sustainable financial freedom, enabling them to adapt and thrive amid global economic changes with greater confidence.
