This study aims to evaluate the effect of the use of pollard as an additive on the content of the silage fiber fraction of banana peel waste. The ingredients used are raw kepok banana peel and pollard as additives that are fermented for 28 days. The method used was an experimental method using a complete random design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments and 4 replicates. The treatment is P0 = raw banana peel waste without pollard; P1 = raw banana peel waste + 10% pollard; P2 = raw banana peel waste + 20% pollard; P3 = raw banana peel waste + 30% pollard. The parameters measured are: NDF, ADF, Hemicellulose, Cellulose, and Lignin. Data analysis used variance analysis (ANOVA) to test the effect of treatment on parameters and followed by Duncan's follow-up test to get the best treatment. The results of statistical analysis showed a very significant influence (P<0.01) on the measured parameters. It was concluded that the use of Pollard by 30% as an additive in the manufacture of banana peel waste silage resulted in a decrease in the content of NDF, ADF, Cellulose and Lignin but increased the content of Hemicellulose.
