Poor oral health can reduce quality of life and potentially add to the health burden of patients with tuberculosis. This community service activity aimed to improve patients' knowledge of oral health maintenance and its relationship with lung health, while identifying their dental treatment needs. The activity was conducted on August 7, 2026, at Baumata Primary Health Center and involved 15 patients who were undergoing or had completed tuberculosis treatment. The methods included a pre-test, oral examination, education through interactive lectures, discussion and toothbrushing demonstration, and a post-test using the same 10 questions. Data were analyzed descriptively. The examination showed that 14 participants (93.3%) had dental caries, 8 (53.3%) had retained roots, 7 (46.7%) had missing teeth, and all participants had debris and calculus. The mean number of correct answers increased from 4.93 (49.3%) in the pre-test to 10 (100%) in the post-test, an increase of 50.7 percentage points. Education combined with examination and demonstration effectively improved participants' short-term understanding and helped identify treatment needs. Periodic education, referral for dental care, and follow-up evaluation are needed to assess behavioral and clinical changes.
