Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of digital technology in supporting the supervision and marketing of halal products in Indonesia. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies of business actors and halal supervisory institutions. The results show that the adoption of digital technologies, such as blockchain-based tracking systems, QR code scanning applications, and e-commerce platforms, significantly increases the efficiency and transparency of upstream and downstream halal supply chain supervision. Furthermore, the use of social media and integrated digital platforms expands the market reach of halal products and strengthens consumer confidence in their halal status. However, challenges remain, including limited digital literacy among MSMEs and uneven technological infrastructure. This study concludes that digitalization is a key catalyst in strengthening the global halal industry ecosystem, necessitating synergy between the government, business actors, and technology providers for comprehensive optimization.
