The inadequate fulfillment of laboratory facilities and infrastructure standards in vocational secondary schools remains a critical challenge in ensuring the quality of practice-based learning aligned with professional competency demands. The mismatch between existing facilities and national standards may hinder student’s technical skill development and limit the effective implementation of occupational safety and health principles during practical learning activities. This study aimed to analyze and evaluate the gaps in laboratory facilities and infrastructure within the skin and hair beauty expertise program based on established standards. The research employed a quantitative approach using a program evaluation design with a discrepancy model. The participants consisted of 9 teachers and 100 students who utilized laboratory practice facilities. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documentation, and were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques. The findings revealed that the fulfillment level of laboratory facilities and infrastructure was categorized as moderate, with notable gaps in the completeness of practice equipment, availability of safety tools, and laboratory cleanliness and maintenance management. These results highlight that systematic, standards-based, and safety-oriented laboratory management plays a strategic role in improving the quality of vocational learning and strengthening student’s professional competency readiness.
