Hypertension is one of the major public health problems that may increase the risk of cardiovascular disease, stroke, and kidney disorders. This study aimed to describe the factors of hypertension in the working area of Ratahan Timur Community Health Center, Southeast Minahasa Regency. This study used a descriptive quantitative method with a cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 93 respondents selected using total sampling. The variables examined included age, sex, family history, alcohol consumption, smoking habits, stress level, and physical activity. Data were collected through interviews using questionnaires, while hypertension status was determined based on the diagnosis recorded in the respondents’ medical records. Data were analyzed using univariate analysis presented as frequency distributions and percentages.
