Growing medium height in sack cultivation may alter root-zone space and plant responses, yet its effects on branching and yield components of sweet potato require further investigation. This study aimed to evaluate the responses of branching and yield components of Lato-lato sweet potato to growing medium height in sacks and to analyze the relationships between branch number and yield components. The experiment was conducted from October 2025 to January 2026 in Lingsar, West Lombok, using a 5 × 5 Latin square design with five growing medium heights of 20, 30, 40, 50, and 60 cm, resulting in 25 experimental units. Observed variables included branch number, storage root number, total storage root weight, and average storage root weight. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance at the 5% significance level and Spearman correlation. Growing medium height had no significant effect on branch number (p = 0.056), storage root number (p = 0.621), total storage root weight (p = 0.109), or average storage root weight (p = 0.261). Branch number was not significantly correlated with storage root number (ρ = −0.293; p = 0.155) or total storage root weight (ρ = 0.309; p = 0.133), but showed a significant positive correlation with average storage root weight (ρ = 0.439; p = 0.028). Growing medium heights of 20–60 cm did not significantly alter branching or yield components, while the association between branching and yield was found only for average storage root weight.
