The presence of land use around the river can affect river water quality. Various land uses such as forests, secondary forests/shrubs, mixed gardens and settlements accompanied by various activities such as plantations, washing, bathing, and sand excavation can affect river health because it can change the value of water parameters to biodiversity habitat. This study aims to determine the macroinvertebrate diversity of Lembo River, the value of water physico-chemical parameters of Lembo River and the water quality of Lembo River based on macroinvertebrate bioindicators and water physico-chemical properties. The method in this study uses the Shannon-Weinner diversity index and familiy biotic index for macroinvertebrate analysis, while the value of water physico-chemical parameters refers to Government Regulation No. 22 of 2021 concerning the Implementation of Environmental Protection and Management. The results of this study indicate that Station I with forest land use and secondary forest/shrub has a diversity index value of 1.53. Station II with mixed garden land use has a diversity index value of 1.13. Station III with residential land use has a diversity index value of 0.80. Based on macroinvertebrate bioindicators, the water quality of Lembo River is in the category of good water quality with the level of pollution polluted by some organic materials. Based on the analysis of the physico-chemical parameters measured, Lembo River water meets class II and class III water quality standards based on Government Regulation No. 22 of 2021
