Abstract This study aims to determine the effects of reward and education level on employee performance at Kesyahbandaran dan Otoritas Pelabuhan Utama Belawan (KSOP Utama Belawan). This study employed an associative research design with a quantitative approach. The population consisted of all 58 employees of the Administrative Division at KSOP Utama Belawan. A saturated sampling technique was used, in which all members of the population were selected as the research sample, resulting in 58 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires, observation, interviews, and documentation. The research data were analyzed using statistical analysis techniques to determine the effect of reward and education level on employee performance both partially and simultaneously. The analysis was conducted to examine the relationship between the independent variables, namely reward and education level, and the dependent variable, namely employee performance at KSOP Utama Belawan. The results showed that reward had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Education level also had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, reward and education level had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at KSOP Utama Belawan. The adjusted R-squared value of 0.513 indicated that reward and education level explained 51.3% of the variance in employee performance, while the remaining 48.7% was explained by other variables not included in the research model.
