The development of information technology has a significant impact on non-formal educational institutions such as computer courses. The intensive use of IT systems and infrastructure carries various potential risks that can hamper operational activities. This study was conducted at a computer course institution in Palembang to identify and manage operational risks using ISO 31000:2018 guidelines. Based on the analysis results, nine possible crucial risks were identified, divided into infrastructure, human resources, and financial factors. Risk evaluation using a semi-quantitative matrix indicated that physical disruptions in the form of power outages were ranked as the most critical with a Very High level. The implemented risk treatment included proactive mitigation measures through network monitoring, offline preparation of local curricula, availability of backup instructors, and transfer of operational risk through hardware warranties to vendors. The implementation of structured uncertainty governance proved crucial to ensuring the continuity of optimal course services for students on an ongoing basis.
