<![CDATA[The realization of accountable village governance relies heavily on the public service sector, with community satisfaction serving as the main parameter of its success. This research agenda is designed to investigate the implications of village apparatus competence on community satisfaction, both directly and through the mediation of service quality. The research locus was set at the Sukamenak Village Office, Sukarame District, Tasikmalaya Regency. Through a quantitative verficiative approach, primary data were gathered from distributing questionnaires to 100 residents acting as research samples. Structural model analysis was completed using the Structural Equation Modeling technique with the help of SmartPLS 4 software. The empirical calculation results prove that apparatus competence triggers a significant positive influence, both in boosting service quality and in fostering community satisfaction directly. In addition, public service quality is validly confirmed to perform a strong mediating function in bridging the causal relationship between apparatus competence and community satisfaction. The theoretical implication of these findings emphasizes that the internal capacity of village officials must be actualized into responsive, communicative, reliable, and friendly service performance in the field in order to optimize the psychological satisfaction of service recipients.]]>
