This study aimed to determine the effect of using TikTok on students' learning interest in Informatics among seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 08 Kota Bengkulu. A quantitative approach was employed using a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population comprised 253 seventh-grade students. Two classes were selected through cluster random sampling: class VII.2 as the experimental group and VII.3 as the control group; the analyzed data involved 60 students. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and documentation and analyzed using descriptive statistics, the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, a homogeneity test, and an Independent Samples t-test with SPSS 25. The mean pretest scores of the experimental and control groups were 33.59 and 32.71, respectively. After treatment, the experimental group's mean posttest score increased to 40.55, compared with 37.74 in the control group. The posttest analysis produced a t-value of 3.102 with a significance level of 0.003, leading to the rejection of H0. These findings indicate that TikTok, when used as a learning medium, has a positive and significant effect on students' learning interest in Informatics.
