Advances in financial technology have made it easier for Generation Z to access digital investment services, including investment instruments based on Sharia principles. The Stockbit app has become one of the platforms Generation Z uses to obtain information, monitor, and conduct investment activities digitally. This study aims to analyze Generation Z’s motivations and perceptions regarding the use of Sharia-compliant financial technology as an investment tool through the Stockbit app. This study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approac. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving three informants Umi, Siti, and Alya selected purposively based on their Generation Z status and their experience with or knowledge of Stockbit’s digital investment features. The data were analyzed through data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. The results show that Generation Z’s motivations are reflected in their perceptions of the app’s benefits, positive attitudes toward its use, intentions to continue using it, and actual use of the app in investment activities. These motivations are also supported by ease of access to services, the usefulness of digital investment features, transaction efficiency and speed, security and trust in transactions, and adherence to Sharia principles. The study’s findings indicate that these various factors encourage Generation Z to use Stockbit as a practical, secure, and Sharia-compliant digital investment platform.
