The gap between theoretical understanding and practical skills remains a challenge in vocational electricity learning. This community service activity aimed to strengthen the vocational competence of Electrical Engineering students through basic electrical installation training based on practice and occupational safety at SMK Negeri 2 Marabahan. The activity was conducted using a participatory training approach involving conceptual briefing, demonstration, group practice, mentoring, and observational evaluation. The training materials included installation components, hand-tool operation, cable cutting and stripping, cable connection techniques, simple circuit assembly, and occupational safety procedures. The results showed that students were actively involved in practical activities, used electrical tools, arranged cable routes, assembled simple circuits on practice boards, and received direct feedback from instructors. Qualitatively, the training supported students’ technical understanding, practical skills, collaboration, accuracy, and safety awareness during electrical installation work. This activity indicates that structured practice-based training can support vocational learning and strengthen students’ readiness to perform basic electrical installation tasks safely and procedurally.
