The development of government public facilities requires the application of sustainability concepts to optimize resource utilization and minimize environmental impact throughout the building's service life. Green Building (BGH) practices serve as the primary technical and regulatory approach, implemented through compliance with national criteria and standards in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the regulatory framework, technical criteria, and current implementation status of Green Buildings in government office facilities. A descriptive qualitative literature review method was employed, examining official regulations and reputable scientific publications. The findings indicate that Green Building implementation in Indonesia is grounded in Government Regulation No. 16 of 2021 and the Regulation of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) No. 21 of 2021. Technical implementation in government offices is realized through four key pillars: energy efficiency, water conservation, site management, and indoor air quality control. Adherence to these criteria has proven effective in optimizing daily operational efficiency and supporting the role of government public facilities as models of eco-friendly infrastructure. Green Building regulations now serve not merely to satisfy administrative requirements but act as an integrative instrument for building management. Successful, sustainable implementation relies heavily on consistent operational maintenance, performance-based monitoring, and capacity building for the personnel managing these public facilities.
