ABSTRACTPrototype Gerbang Semi Otomatis Berbasis Mikrokontroler Menggunakan ESP32] The advancement of automation technology has encouraged the emergence of more practical and efficient security systems, including for gate control. This study aims to design and develop a semi-automatic gate prototype using an ESP32 microcontroller and Arduino Nano, which can be operated via the HTTP Shortcuts application on a mobile device. The system utilizes a Wi-Fi network to transmit open and close commands wirelessly. The ESP32 serves as the primary controller that receives HTTP-based commands and relays them to the Arduino Nano through serial communication. The Arduino Nano then drives the servo motor acting as the gate actuator. This research was carried out through a series of stages, including literature review, hardware and software design, prototype assembly, and system testing. Test results indicate that the system successfully responded to open and close commands with a 90% success rate, and serial communication between the ESP32 and Arduino Nano operated stably throughout the trials. This prototype demonstrates that integrating the ESP32 microcontroller with the HTTP Shortcuts application presents a practical, efficient, and user-friendly solution for semi-automatic gate control systems
