Secondary school extracurricular engagements present crucial opportunity for pupils to refine their skills and nurture their faith-based values. Hadroh, an Islamic musical art combining instrument playing, poetic verses, and group performance, is one such activity. This study explores the role of hadroh extracurricular activities as a means of creative Islamic expression among students at SMP Negeri 2 Blora, with specific aims to describe the forms of students' creative expression through hadroh, to analyze the role of hadroh in the internalization of Islamic values, and to outline the support provided by various parties in facilitating the activity. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach with a single case study design, collecting data through semi-structured interviews with seventeen participants comprising fifteen students, one Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teacher, and one hadroh trainer, triangulated with one direct observation session and a review of supporting documents. The findings show that students creatively express Islamic values through playing traditional and modern musical instruments, arranging songs, and performing techniques, although this creative space remains bounded by the requirements of the MAPSI competition framework. Students build their understanding of Islam through the meaning contained in hadroh lyrics, and these values become internalized not only through lyrical meaning but also through habituated behavior formed during the activity, such as courtesy, discipline, and mutual respect. The activity also develops students' musical skills, discipline, and self-confidence, supported by the school through facilities and materials. Hadroh extracurricular activities can serve as a way to integrate artistic development with Islamic religious education in schools, giving students room to creatively express their faith while cultivating discipline and responsibility.
