Asphalt Mixing Plant (AMP) is the main machine in hot mix asphalt concrete production. This research was motivated by the disruption of the AMP machine's operational function due to incomplete electrical components in the power panel and control panel, caused by indications of theft. This research aims to carry out the restoration, assembly, installation, and testing of the power panel and control panel system so that the AMP machine can return to operating optimally and automatically. The control system was designed using a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and Human-Machine Interface (HMI), integrated with RS-485 serial communication based on the Modbus RTU protocol to connect the PLC with a Variable Speed Drive (VSD), load cell controller, and temperature controller for the weighing and temperature monitoring processes. Quality control testing results showed that all wiring and components functioned according to the design. Power panel feasibility testing showed a stable inter-phase voltage (386–388V) and a balanced load current (0.8% difference), meeting the safe tolerance standard according to IEEE 141-1993. Modbus RTU communication testing was carried out successfully without errors, enabling the AMP machine to operate in both semi-auto and full-auto modes
