Gambiran Village in Prigen District, Pasuruan Regency, East Java, possesses significant horticultural potential; however, its utilization remains suboptimal due to limitations in post-harvest processing, packaging, and marketing, alongside low community awareness regarding environmental law. To address these issues, a community service program titled Gambiran Sociopreneur Hub: Realizing High-Value Horticulture and a Village Environmental Law Awareness Movement was implemented using a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach. The program focused on three key areas: Horti-Socio Business Classes to foster innovation in product development, packaging, and digital marketing of horticultural produce; education and practical training on waste management to support a circular economy; and legal education combined with assistance for conflict resolution at the community level. Program outcomes included enhanced resident capacity to develop marketable processed horticultural products, the creation of a digital business catalog, the establishment of a pilot waste-sorting cluster, and the formulation of village-level conflict mediation Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This initiative demonstrates that community empowerment can drive sociopreneurship-based economic growth while simultaneously strengthening long-term compliance with environmental laws.
