The agricultural sector is the mainstay of job creation, but the contribution of this sector to Indonesia's GDP is relatively low. Growth in this sector has always been below the average national economic growth. So this study wants to see the influence of the agricultural sector on the Indonesian economy. Through analysis of Indonesia's input output table in 2016, it is known that the agriculture sector has a multiplier effect of 1.31 on the Indonesian economy. In addition, the agricultural sector also has a significant effect on increasing household income 0.45. Meanwhile, in employment, the agricultural sector has the highest multiplier effect 0.03 percent. Based on the simulation, if there is an increase in government spending by 5 percent for the agricultural sector, then there is no increase in output. owever, if there is an increase in agricultural investment by 5 percent, there will be an increase in output, savings, and investment from the agricultural and non-agricultural sectors.
