Malaria is a disease that is still endemic in most parts of Indonesia. Several factors that are thought to influence malaria prevalence are malaria treatment factors and behavioral factors to prevent mosquito bites. Factors of malaria treatment are getting ACT (Artemisinin-based Combination Therapy) according to the program, getting ACT treatment in the first 24 hours, taking ACT medicine for 3 days, effective treatment with ACT, and self-medication. The behavioral factors for preventing mosquito bites are using mosquito nets, mosquito nets, insecticides, mosquito coils, repellents, and taking malaria prevention drugs (RISKESDAS 2013). This study aims to model the prevalence of malaria with Geographically Weighted Lasso Regression (RLTG). In malaria prevalence data there is spatial heterogeneity and local multicollinearity. In this study the problem was solved by the RLTG model. The resulting model is used to determine the variables that significantly influence malaria prevalence in each province in Indonesia. The results show that the RLTG model has an R2 value of 99.65%. The variables that significantly influence the prevalence of malaria in most provinces in Indonesia are the variable proportion of the population who treat themselves (28 provinces) and the proportion of households using mosquito nets (26 provinces).
