Poverty is a multidimensional problem that requires deep attention to overcome it. This study analyzes the variables that affect poverty by considering the geographical location of regency / cities in Papua Province using Geoda software. Spatial regression analysis was used because there were indications that poverty data in Papua Province had spatial variations. Regression results using spatial error models show that there is an influence of "neighbors" on poverty conditions in Papua. Variables that affect the percentage of poor people include the number of electricity customers, economic growth, the percentage of households that have their own homes, and the human development index (HDI).
